summer cards

Hello Ladies,

Finally i am back home after i had a performance in Frankfurt, and visited my grandchild in Austria.
This weekend it was quite hot here in Freiburg.
I went running through the parc in the morning, practiced my music...and made some summer cards....
i am going to 2 weddings the next 3 weeks, so i needed some cards and gift sets.

I used the 3 colors of DISTRESS STAINS for the first time, togehter with a technique i like very much.
First i rub with a white CANDLE unto white paper.( you can choose which forms you like..)

on the backgrounds you can emboss now or just use MEMORY INK.
for example i made with this technique this card:

i colored the butterflies with aquarell pastels (white and light blue).

For my summer cards i tried to draw the waves or clouds as a background for the stamp images.
here you see clouds and waves...
You can see the whole collection here:

i made different paper with images first, then embossed some of them, and cut out.

i wish you a happy summer week.enjoy the little things.

Sending smiles and good thoughts to you...

Hugs,
Franziska

  5. Franziska! I am so excited that you now have a blog!! I will be visiting often!!
Your cards are so beautiful ... I love them all. Your technique with wax is similar to what I often used of my large watercolours, only I used rubber cement as it is fluid and flows beautifully!
Have a fantastic week!! Hugs, Susanne
